Dry thoroughly: Wipe the casserole and lid completely dry after washing to help protect the cast iron and metal components. Protect the enamel: Avoid dropping or knocking the casserole against hard surfaces, as the enamel coating can chip if impacted. Use suitable utensils: Wooden, silicone or other non-abrasive utensils are recommended to help protect the cooking surface. Store carefully: Keep the lid and casserole in a dry cupboard and avoid stacking heavy cookware directly on the enamelled surface.
