Prunus ‘Shirofugen’ – Flowering Cherry Tree – Approx. 5–6ft Tall in 7.5 Litre Pot – By Direct Plants Add seasonal structure and colour to your garden with Prunus ‘Shirofugen’, a deciduous flowering cherry tree known for its large double blossoms that change from white to pink as they mature. Supplied as a well-established tree in a 7.5 litre pot, this specimen is suitable for planting and long-term growth. This variety flowers later than many cherry trees, extending the blossom season into late spring. The flowers open pale and gradually deepen in colour, creating variation across the canopy. Green foliage develops after flowering and provides coverage through the growing season, followed by autumn colour. Its spreading growth habit makes it suitable as a feature tree in gardens where space allows for canopy development. Perfect for: Feature tree planting in lawns or borders Extending the cherry blossom season Traditional and ornamental gardens Mixed planting schemes Planting Guide: Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade Allow space for canopy spread as the tree matures Water regularly during establishment Minimal pruning required, only to maintain shape You will receive 1 Prunus ‘Shirofugen’ tree approximately 5–6ft tall in a 7.5 litre pot, suitable for ornamental planting.
