This set includes 13 rigid metal stair rods, 26 brackets, 52 screws and a drill bit, providing fittings for a full standard UK staircase. The rods are designed for stairs up to 70 cm wide and can be shortened with a hacksaw or pipe cutter when required. Each rod has a rust-resistant finish and is secured with two brackets per step to help hold a stair runner neatly against the tread. To fit, mark and drill the fixing points, screw the brackets into place, then position and lock each rod. The supplied components provide the fittings needed to install all 13 rods.
