Donald Byrd
Byrd In Flight - Vinyl LP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
Byrd In Flight is an excellent snapshot of Donald Byrd's early Blue Note work, full of hard bop drive but loose enough to let the melodies open up. Ghana and Little Boy Blue set the tone on the first side, while Lex and My Girl Shirl keep the second side swinging with real purpose. A strong choice for anyone building out the classic Byrd catalogue.SIDE ONE:1. Ghana2. Little Boy Blue3. Gate CitySIDE TWO:1. Lex2. Bo3. My Girl Shirl
