The Dyson Airstrait is a hair straightener and hair dryer in one. Use it inthe wet mode to dry wet hair, or refresh the styling of dry hair in the dry mode. The Dyson Airstrait has a 'wet' and 'dry' styling mode as well as a 'cold shot'. In the wet mode consits of three heat settings: 80 °C, 110 °C and 140 °C. In dry mode, you can choose between 120°C or 140°C and an additional 'boost' mode for maximum styling impact. There are two speed levels, low flow and high flow, as well as a cold shot and root-drying-mode. The cold setting to set your style with cool air. To maintain optimum performance, your Dyson Airstrait straightener needs regular care and maintenance. We recommend cleaning the filter once a month. Debris should be wiped from the outer filter cage and from the inner filter mesh using a soft, dry cloth. The PRCD plug (Portable Residual Current Device) is engineered for your safety and comfort when using the Dyson Airstrait straightener. The straightener’s powerful air drying technology for wet to dry use requires a PRCD plug to test the electrical current for safety. Such plugs are on a variety of electrical appliances, particularly in proximity to water or water vapour. For your safety, press TEST and RESET every time before you use your Dyson Airstrait straightener.
