Help protect your seedlings and offer them the best chance of establishing with these easy-to-use plastic cloches. Simply place the bell shaped cloche over your young plant, and secure the lip at the bottom into the soil using the metal ground pegs provided (3 per cloche) - you’ve instantly provided a shield for your germination. The set comprises 3 cloches each measuring 33cm wide by 30cm tall, and 9 metal ground pegs. These cloches offer good all-round protection from slugs and other pests that might take a liking to your plants as well as frost and other inclement weather. The cloches help create a heated – like a mini-greenhouse – keeping the cold at bay, whilst the adjustable vent holes at the top of the bell ensures that heat can be released as needed.
