The Privateer is a Naval Old Fashioned that lives on the wild side with a Letter Or Marque and the approval to raid enemy shipping as a Privateer! During The Age Of Sail, privately owned ships would be legally allowed to attack ships from France and Spain to take them as prizes to sell to The Admiralty for very healthy profits. A very dangerous but potentially rewarding enterprise. Captain Jack Aubrey had a letter of marque on HMS Surprise for a short period during 1812, before his restoration to the Naval Lists. This rum old fashioned is a spicier version of my Naval Old Fashioned, with maple syrup and additional spiced bitter, plus a cheeky drop of Peychauds bitters in every serving. It’s still built with my fantastic Fat Adam’s Sipping Rum. Disclaimer: Age verification required on delivery or collection: This product is not for sale to people under the age of 18. To confirm the recipient is over 18 years of age, valid photographic ID with a date of birth will be required upon delivery or collection.
Close quarters and engage with this spicy rum old fashioned and carry home the prize!
