Time Wounds All Heels - Vinyl LP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
Gene Townsel's lone album is a rich late-70s soul set with a quiet depth to it - smooth, melodic and full of lived-in vocal phrasing rather than cheap gloss. Time Wounds All Heels moves between modern soul, orchestral slow-burners and tougher rhythm-led cuts, making it one of those private-press style favourites that keeps pulling listeners back in. A welcome reissue of a seriously underrated record.SIDE ONE:1. Time Wounds All Heels2. If You Were Really My Woman3. Chrissy4. I'm Walking Away5. Hope She'll Be Happier6. There's No Use HidingSIDE TWO:1. Medley: I'm Her Daddy/Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast2. Color Me Black3. The Impossible Dream
