The Godox SL200 II is a lightweight, powerful economical 200W LED light for photographers, cinematographers and videographers who require continuous lighting both in the studio and on location. It uses the popular Bowens S-Type fitting, and uses the latest High-Intensity Integrated COB LED technology. Daylight Balanced The Godox SL200 II features COB LED chip, which is dimmable down to approximately 10% of their full power and produce a Maximum of 200W. It has a Brightness in excess of 58,000 lux at 1m with the included standard seven-inch reflector. Cooler Running and Energy Efficient LED lights can last up to ten time longer than CFL lights and many time longer than Tungsten lights. They are also more energy efficient using 1/3 to 1/30 of the energy consumed by fluorescent or incandescent lights. LED lights also run cooler as they convert around 90 percent of the energy consumed into light as opposed to tungsten lights where most of the energy is converted into heat. This makes the shooting setting a lot more comfortable for your subject and will also reduce air conditioning costs as LED lights do not really contribute to heat build-up. Since LED lights are solid and do not contain a fragile filament, they are also less susceptible to impact damage. LEDs can last for up to 50,000 hours which is 5-10 time longer than CFL bulbs, and many times longer than tungsten bulbs. Impeccable colour accuracy The Godox SL200 II has impeccable colour quality, with a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 96, for super-accurate colour reproduction, and a Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI) rating of 97 (which is the industry standard measurement of colour fidelity). This ensures that you can achieve the best representation of colour possible, meaning that it is Suitable for Professional Broadcasting use, as well as for Cinematography, Television Production and other video applications. It is also Suitable for Stills Photography, Including Portraits and Products etc. Super-quiet fan The SL200 II features a unique heat-dissipation system to maximise airflow or more efficient heat dissipation giving an almost silent operation. This makes the SL200 II suitable for use for any filming application. FX special effects modes It also has a unique FX Special Effects mode whilst allows you to replicate effects with your light, from flashing, storm, TV, broken bulb adding more creativity and possibilities in your photography and videography. Dimmable The SL200 II features a dimmer dial which enables you to control the brightness anywhere between 100-10% brightness in intervals of 10%. Robust and lightweight Despite its Professional-Grade Metal Outer-Casing, the SL200 II is lightweight, weighing at around 2.95kg. This allows filmmakers to effortlessly take it anywhere, without having to lug around heavy tungsten fixtures with generators.
