Designed for both comfort and durability, Engage 40 features a duo of intelligent microphones and a programmable control unit, to make handling calls easier than ever before.

The headset is a head‑band style, binaural unit in black, intended for office or call‑centre use. It connects via a 1.6 m black USB Type‑A cable and does not support wireless connectivity. The housing is made from polycarbonate, ABS, silicone and TPE, and the ear cushions are single‑size leatherette. It is optimised for other major platforms and features Jabra PeakStop hearing protection, HD voice, noise reduction and a boom microphone with two MEMS capsules (frequency range 100–14 kHz, sensitivity –38 dB). Supported applications include Cisco, Unify, Microsoft Teams (certified), Zoom, Google Meet, Amazon Chime and Chromebook, as well as Engage+, Jabra Direct and Jabra Xpress. LED indicators signal incoming calls. Audio performance offers a frequency response of 50–20 kHz in music mode and 100–14 kHz in talk mode, with a 2 cm driver and intra‑aural coupling. The device lacks volume control, an on/off switch, auto‑connect, multipoint, NFC, voice control and a rechargeable battery; fast‑charging is not available. Bluetooth support is limited to the SBC profile, without BLE. Operating temperature ranges from 14 °F to 131 °F (‑5 °C to 55 °C). The headset measures 167 mm × 167 mm × 54 mm and weighs 63 g. The package contains the headset, a carry pouch, a warranty card and a safety sheet.
