Chinese lanterns are a classic of autumn displays, and these 100cm faux physalis sprays bring their glowing colour indoors all year round. Papery orange lantern pods, just like cape gooseberry seed cases, dangle along slender branching stems for a light, airy look with real character. A set of six makes a statement in a tall floor vase or urn, and works wonderfully with dried-look grasses, berries and seasonal foliage for harvest tables and Halloween styling. As they are artificial, the lanterns will not fade, crumble or drop, and they need no water or care at all. They are pollen-free and lightweight, so they are easy to move between rooms or pack away for next season. Wired stems allow you to bend the branches into graceful arcs or trim them shorter. Each spray is around 100cm long, 30cm wide and 15cm deep as arranged in our photographs. Six bare stems are supplied; vases and props are not included.
