Wipe clean regularly with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soapy detergent. Remove dirt, leaves and other debris from the unit and lids to help maintain its appearance. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the protective finish. Keep the gas struts, hinges and moving parts free from dirt and debris to ensure smooth operation. Periodically check the lids, hinges and fixings and tighten if necessary. Although weather resistant, avoid prolonged contact with standing water and ensure water can drain freely around the unit. If the surface becomes scratched or damaged, repair the affected area promptly to help maintain protection against corrosion. Do not place excessively heavy items on the lift-up lids. No special seasonal storage is required; regular cleaning and maintenance will help prolong the appearance and lifespan of the unit.
