Aquatic life refers to animals that live in the water. Animals live on the land. Terrestrial refers to animals that live on the land. In jungles, rainforests, deserts, tundras, icy cold regions animals can all be found, whether vertebrates or invertebrates, mammals or nonmammals. Those who have pets, animals live in your home. Even in our backyards animals live. Animals are all around. In the coldest regions of the earth animals are there. Each animal lives in a habitat that is suitable for them.
