MOHAMMED In Arabic, Sufi Eastern Poetry An Anthology Translation Introduction Paul Smith Here is a collection of poems from the time of Prophet Mohammed in the 7th century into the 20th century about him and in praise of him by some of the greatest poets writing in Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Urdu of all time, most of them Sufis. The Koran itself like the books of most great Spiritual Masters was in poetry as were the sayings of Jesus, Krishna, Rama, Zarathustra. There is an Introduction on Prophecy Poetry by Hazrat Inayat Khan and on the various forms of poetry used by the poets in this anthology.
