It flowers for months on end and thrives in bright, indirect light with steady temperatures, favoring humid spots like kitchens or bathrooms where its leaves can be misted occasionally. Water deeply with soft, tepid water when the specialist compost gets quite dry—soaking it in a tray or sink for 1–2 hours and draining completely afterwards—while reducing moisture during winter. Aerial roots exposed outside the pot naturally collect atmospheric water, so only repot when overall growth suffers, and encourage a quick second flush of flowers by trimming finished stems back to just above the first node.
