First released in 1978, Sunny Place Carnival is the debut album of Japanese Brazilian-fusion ensemble Samba Calioca, later known as Carioca. Samba and bossa nova rhythms meet polished jazz-fusion playing, from the expansive 'Berimbau' to the breezy closing title suite. This limited, remastered translucent blue pressing includes a Japanese obi strip and inserts, bringing a distinctive corner of the late-1970s crossover scene back to vinyl.SIDE ONE:1.
