1. Rotate the dial and press the buttons to set the clock, how often (watering frequency), how long (watering duration), start time, auto, and off. Watering frequency is from 1 to 15 days, and each watering duration is 1 to 360 minutes. 2. The outdoor sprinkler timer has 3 watering modes to meet your different watering plans. Under Auto mode, the hose timer will run according to the schedule you set before. With Manual mode, you can use the faucet to do other things from 1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes without interrupting your schedule. On a rainy day, the rain delay setting helps you pause your schedule for 1-15 days and will be automatically resumed.

A larger screen makes you check readouts much easier. Child Lock mode keeps the garden hose timer safe from kids' and pets' activities, avoiding mistaken operation.
