The Flaming Lips
Clouds Taste Metallic (Rhino Reserve) - 180 Gram Vinyl LP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
1995's Clouds Taste Metallic is The Flaming Lips before the confetti cannons: spiky, guitar-forward psychedelia with a punky sense of humour and a knack for turning nonsense into hooks. The Rhino Reserve 180 gram pressing lets the fuzz and tape-warp textures breathe, from the lurching "Brainville" to the sunburnt shimmer of "Bad Days (Aurally Excited Version)". Tracklist: SIDE ONE: 1. The Abandoned Hospital Ship. 2. Psychiatric Explorations Of The Fetus With Needles. 3. Placebo Headwound. 4. This Here Giraffe. 5. Brainville. 6. Guy Who Got A Headache & Accidentally Saves The World. SIDE TWO: 1. When You Smile. 2. Kim's Watermelon Gun. 3. They Punctured My Yolk. 4. Lightning Strikes The Postman. 5. Christmas At The Zoo. 6. Evil Will Prevail. 7. Bad Days (Aurally Excited Version).
