This Gigabit Ethernet switch provides high-performance, low-cost networking that upgrades older networks to 1000 Mbps. All 24 ports support auto MDI/MDIX, so you need not worry about cable type – simply plug in and go. The device incorporates advanced power-saving features that substantially increase network capacity while drawing far less electricity. It automatically adjusts power draw according to each link's status. The switch complies with the EU's RoHS directive, which bans certain hazardous substances. All 24 ports are Gigabit RJ-45, capable of handling large file transfers and remaining compatible with 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet devices. With a non-blocking switching architecture, the switch forwards and filters packets at full line speed for maximum throughput. Support for 10 KB jumbo frames markedly improves the transfer of large files. IEEE 802.3x flow control for full-duplex mode and back-pressure for half-duplex mode alleviate traffic congestion, ensuring reliable operation.
