Iron components require gentle cleaning with a mild cleaner and soft cloth; wipe dry immediately to prevent water marks. For copper or chromed elements, use a suitable polish to maintain shine and protect the finish. MDF sections respond best to wiping along the grain with a mild cleaner; dry promptly after cleaning to prevent moisture damage. If finished with oil, re-oil periodically to preserve the luster. Note: This lamp does not include a built-in switch; a wall switch is required, and cord length adjustments should be carried out by a licensed electrician.
