Boucle upholstery should be cleaned with dry upholstery shampoo and a damp sponge or mild cleaner, then vacuumed with a suitable attachment to remove dust and crumbs. Rubberwood surfaces require a mild cleaner and soft cloth, wiped along the grain and dried immediately to prevent water marks. If the item has an oiled finish, re-oiling periodically helps preserve the natural sheen and extend the life of the wood. Also, avoid harsh solvents and test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area first. For accidental spills, blot immediately with a clean cloth.
