It does not include a built-in switch; you will need to connect it to a wall switch and use a ceiling plate compatible with your mounting. For energy efficiency, use bulbs rated A–G; LED bulbs are recommended for longevity and cooler operation. The rattan shade should be kept dry and dust-free, wiped gently with a dry cloth; avoid detergents. Clean the iron finials and base with a mild cleaner and soft cloth; wipe dry to prevent streaking. Hang height should be chosen to suit your space and ceiling height, ensuring comfortable clearance from furniture and eye level, and allowing heat to dissipate safely.
