DDR5 integrates I/O resistors with CMD/ADD resistors, delivering significantly higher bandwidth and frequency. DDR5 memory delivers frequencies of up to 4800 MT/s and bandwidth of 38.4 GB/s, which is 50 percent higher than DDR4-3200. Maximum frequency is increased 1.63 times compared to DDR4. DDR5 modules provide two times more capacity by packing in more banks and bank groups, with doubled burst length and prefetch for enhanced data integrity.
