This 5ft king pu upholstered ottoman bed is designed for a 150 x 200 cm mattress. Hydraulic supports open the mattress platform above the underbed storage. Padding on the headboard provides a softer surface behind the sleeping platform. PU upholstery covers the padded panels, while the frame materials carry the slatted base. The mattress base lifts on hydraulic supports to open the storage area below. The compartment can hold spare bedding or clothing, with room needed above the bed to lift the base. When choosing a position for the bed, leave access to the lighting connection and its controls after assembly. Slats span the frame beneath the mattress rather than relying on a separate solid platform. The outer frame extends past the mattress and should be allowed for in the room layout. Concealed space in the headboard holds smaller items separately from the larger bedding compartment below the hydraulic base. Concealed headboard compartments keep books and small belongings beside the mattress, while the larger hydraulic bed-box area accommodates spare bedding and clothing. The PU-covered surfaces can be wiped during routine cleaning. A mattress is not included. Use the full outside width of the frame when planning a position against the wall. Maximum load: 300 kg.
