This 3ft single bed frame is upholstered in beige velvet and designed for a 90 x 190cm mattress. The scalloped headboard features vertical channel tufting and high-resilience foam padding, creating a shaped backrest for sitting up in bed. Its height can be adjusted to suit different mattress thicknesses and the preferred appearance above the sleeping surface. Gold-coloured metal feet provide a contrasting detail below the neutral upholstery. The raised base leaves room underneath for storage boxes, spare bedding or shoes, making use of the area beneath the frame. This clearance also provides access for cleaning and allows air to circulate below the bed. A metal and wood structure supports the upholstered frame, with wooden slats carrying the mattress directly. The padded headboard, fabric-covered outer rails and slim feet bring the decorative and practical parts of the design together in one bed. The scalloped top edge adds shape above the straight channel stitching. The headboard adjustment helps keep the padded backrest visible with different mattress depths.
