This grey velvet single daybed is designed for a 90 x 190cm mattress and offers seating as well as a sleeping area. Its upholstered backrest and side panels form a sofa-style surround, providing a padded place to lean when reading or relaxing. The velvet finish gives the frame a soft texture, while the neutral colour and simple lines suit different bedding and room styles. The bed can be used with cushions for daytime seating, then prepared for sleeping without moving a separate sofa into the room. A pull-out trundle beneath the main frame provides an additional sleeping position when required. Wooden slats support the mattress inside the MDF and upholstered frame. The slatted platform keeps the sleeping surface within the outer panels and provides support without a box spring. Its low-profile back and arms define the seating area while leaving the front open for access. The sofa-style arrangement suits a guest room, teenager's bedroom or a room used for more than one activity. The padded surround gives a softer surface against the back than an exposed wooden panel. The trundle stores beneath the main bed when the additional sleeping place is not required. The open front allows the sleeping surface to be reached directly when the bed is used as seating.
