This natural-finish wooden daybed combines a 3ft single sleeping area with a pull-out extending frame. Curved side panels and a shaped back give the bed a sofa-style outline, allowing it to be used for sitting, lounging and sleeping. The open front provides access to the mattress, while the natural finish can be paired with colourful bedding or cushions. Pull out the lower frame to increase the sleeping width when an additional place to rest is required. When closed, the bed takes a 90 x 190cm mattress, and the extended arrangement accommodates a sleeping width of up to 180cm. Pine and MDF form the structure, with slats supporting the mattress directly. The curved back provides a backdrop for cushions during the day, making the bed useful in a guest room or a room with more than one purpose. The frame changes width while keeping its length, so the extra sleeping area can be put away between uses. The pull-out arrangement keeps the additional frame with the daybed rather than requiring a second permanent bed. The natural wood appearance suits both plain and patterned bedding.
