You can also fish just above sunken weedbeds after letting your lure sink down to the right depth. Simply retrieve at a steady speed. SINK AND DRAW: When predators are not very active and laid up in snag-filled areas (weed beds, obstacles, etc.) you can try sinking your lure down to these areas and working it in an up and down zig-zag pattern. Hits generally occur on the way back down, just before the lure drops back into the obstacles. You can also work the lure this way in open water.
