HQC Kitchen Matt Paint: The best kitchen paint for a flawless finish. Water-based, wipeable, and exceptionally breathable, this all-rounder dries to a subtle matte finish that resists moisture, stains, and grease. It has been specifically formulated to provide premium protection against mould and bacteria growth typically found in kitchen areas. Combined with insulating technology, this hard-working emulsion also reduces heat loss through walls and ceilings. The product can easily be applied by brush, roller or spray. If you are spray painting, filters MUST be removed and nozzle size increased to between 0.019X to 0.026X.

This paint product provides coverage of approximately 12–16m² per litre for a single coat, or 6–8m² per litre for two coats, depending on surface porosity and colour. Suitable for use in residential and commercial settings—including spas, gyms, schools, universities, and hospitals—it is touch dry in 2 hours and re-coatable in 4 hours, though drying times may vary with climate conditions. For consistent colour, mix multiple containers in a single bucket before use. One or more coats may be needed based on the surface and colour; allow 4–6 hours between coats. The paint can be easily applied by brush, roller, or spray.
