It is inspired by the enjoyment Karl felt smelling the rose and jasmine rising from private gardens as he walked in in one of his favourite Parisian neighbourhoods: Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The Karl Lagerfeld headquarters were established on 21 Rue Saint-Guillaume for these reasons.
