The Ubbink's PVC pond liner AquaLiner 4 x 4 m is friendly for the environment and plants and animals because it is made of high-quality and durable materials that almost never decompose so that no toxins are released into the pond's ecosystem. Besides being fish and plant friendly, this sheet of pond liner is also UV stable and frost and rot resistant. It is even root resistant except for bamboos and various types of reeds. Ubbink always advises to apply some Ubbink fleece/felt cloth under the liner to protect it. If growing roots pose a risk, then apply a nature anti-root cover/ground cover under the liner.
