ROSEMARY HERB PLANT - Rosemary botanically known Rosmarinus officinalis is a versatile easy to grow live evergreen perennial herb plant, providing interest in the garden or indoors on a window sill all year round. Its lovely fragrant leaves can be used for cooking and its nectar rich purple flowers in the Spring are loved by bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. PLANT GIFT - This culinary outdoor herb plant, comes planted in a 15cm terracotta plant pot topped with moss making it an excellent garden gift for plant and garden lovers at Christmas. Perfect present to grow your own herb garden, ideal gift when stuck for ideas for mum, dad or loved ones. Also a great gardener gift idea for those with an allotment. GROWING - As Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean it is very drought tolerant once established. It is best grown in bright sunlight needing at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Too much shade can lead to spindly growth. Even though it can cope with its soil on the dryer side, watering every few days is ideal especially when there has been no rain. ONGOING CARE - If you plant outdoors, during the Winter it is advised to bring Rosemary plants indoors. Rosemary is a perennial herb that can grow quite big, so repotting it in fresh compost and a larger terracotta pot every couple of years is advised. CARBETH PLANTS - We are a Scottish based company with over 20 years experience in horticulture. With a large variety of plants for the garden, indoors and also gift wrapped for special occasions. We pride ourselves on prompt delivery as well as our quality and affordable plants.
