ROSEMARY HERB PLANT - Rosemary botanically known Rosmarinus officinalis is a versatile easy to grow live evergreen perennial herb plant, providing interest in the garden or indoors on a window sill all year round. GROWING - As Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean it is very drought tolerant once established. It is best grown in bright sunlight needing at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Too much shade can lead to spindly growth. Even though it can cope with its soil on the dryer side, watering every few days is ideal especially when there has been no rain. ONGOING CARE - If you plant outdoors, during the Winter it is advised to bring Rosemary plants indoors. Rosemary is a perennial herb that can grow quite big, so repotting it in fresh compost and a larger terracotta pot every couple of years is advised.
