The HEA1839GE Heated Neck & Back Pad operates at a rated voltage of 220V-240V AC and 50Hz frequency, with a power rating of 85W. Designed exclusively for heating purposes, the pad should never be used when folded or rucked, as this can cause overheating and trigger the thermal safety mechanism, rendering the pad temporarily inoperative. To detach the controller, set the power switch to ‘OFF,’ unplug from the mains, lift the locking tab, and gently remove the connector; pulling directly without unlocking risks damage to the socket. Care guidelines include machine washing at a maximum of 30˚C using a delicate cycle with the controller detached and the pad placed in a net bag. Avoid ironing, dry cleaning, bleaching, or using pins. For drying, lay the pad flat or drape it over a clothesline without securing it with pegs; wringing is not advised. Spot cleaning with a mild soap solution is also acceptable, followed by sponging with clean water and drying between towels. The heated pad should not be used by young children, individuals with heat insensitivity, or those who cannot operate it independently.
