The MAM Trainer 2in1 has been designed in cooperation with medical and technical experts to help your growing baby with the transition from sucking to drinking from a cup. Step 1 enables your baby to drink from a fast flow bottle teat in their new trendy cup-like bottle with handles, for the earliest transition to weaning. Step 2, offers the use of the cleverly designed symmetrical Extra soft spout with spill-free, free-flow technology, for the second stage of weaning. Learning to drink independently is a key development skill for babies. Thanks to this smart all in one trainer babies will learn with ease the transition from sucking to drinking. There is also no extra valve to worry about, a simple but effective design with non-slip handles which fit all MAM Bottles & Trainer*. Before First Use Disassemble, clean, and boil the Trainer components for 5 minutes to ensure hygiene. For cleaning details, refer to the cleaning section. Press gently on the teat/spout mouthpiece to ensure the slits are open. The ventilation slit under the teat/spout may stick initially; gently brush the slit area with your fingers to reopen it if needed. Cleaning Before each use, disassemble and wash all parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly before sterilising. Avoid harmful soap ingredients like alcohol, chlorine, or microplastics. Don’t soak parts in soapy water longer than recommended, as this may impact functionality. Inspect each part before use. Discard at the first sign of damage or wear. Disassemble all parts before cleaning to prevent damage. All parts are top-rack dishwasher safe (up to 65°C / 149°F). Note that food colorings may stain components without affecting the material. Clean the spout mouthpiece carefully to avoid damaging the membrane. Use only soft brushes or sponges for cleaning to prevent scratches. Ensure no food residue remains on any Trainer parts after cleaning. Sterilizing Disassemble and clean all parts before sterilising. Sterilise using steam (electric or microwave), boiling water (for at least 10 minutes), or a liquid sterilizing solution. Let parts cool after sterilising. Do not leave any part in sterilising solutions or direct sunlight longer than recommended, as this can weaken the material. Do not assemble parts during sterilizing, as it can damage the Trainer and distort the threads. Assembling Insert the teat/spout into the screw ring until it clicks. Attach the handles over the Trainer neck and screw the ring tightly onto the Trainer. Heating Instructions Heat the Trainer by placing it in a bottle warmer, under hot running water, in heated water, or in a microwave (with grill off). Do not pour boiling water into the Trainer or heat/cool a sealed Trainer. Remove the cap and spout or teat with the screw ring before heating, especially in bottle warmers or microwaves. Avoid overheating. Never place the Trainer in an oven or on an open flame. When microwaving, avoid the center of the turntable to prevent uneven heating; allow standing time as per microwave instructions. After warming, stir thoroughly for even heat distribution and always test temperature before feeding.
