Check Propane Connections: Regularly inspect the propane connections and hoses for signs of wear, damage, or leaks. Tighten connections as needed and replace any damaged components promptly. Clean Burner Assembly: Periodically clean the burner assembly to ensure optimal performance. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove any debris or spider webs that may be obstructing the burner ports. Inspect Ignition System: Check the ignition system regularly to ensure it's functioning properly. Clean the ignition electrode and ensure it's positioned correctly relative to the burner. Protect from Elements: When not in use, cover the fire pit with a weatherproof cover to protect it from the elements and prevent damage from rain, snow, and UV exposure. Keep Clear of Combustibles: Position the fire pit on a level, stable surface away from combustible materials such as trees, shrubs, and overhanging structures. Maintain a safe clearance around the fire pit to prevent accidents. Store Propane Safely: When storing propane cylinders, ensure they are stored in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Store cylinders in an upright position and avoid storing them indoors. Professional Inspection: Periodically have the fire pit inspected by a qualified technician to check for any potential issues and ensure safe operation.
