During use, filter cartridges become clogged with debris, and the filter starts slowing down. Bestway Type II (Type 2) filters are easy to fit into a filter pump and very simple to clean. Regularly rinsing your Bestway pool filter with running water will prolong its life and is essential for the smooth running of your filter pump system. However, this will only work for so long before you will need to replace the filter cartridge. This replacement cartridge measures 4.2'' x 5.4"/10.6cm x 13.6cm These filters will also fit other makes of pool filter - just check the measurements - it should have a diameter of 10.6cm (across the top of the cartridge) and a height of 13.6cm
