This High Temperature Gas Steak Grill and BBQ has an attractive brushed stainless steel finish. It is supplied with two 31.5 x 15.4cm cooking grids, two trays and a grill grid handle, all of which are stainless steel. The grill is fitted with an extendable grease collection tray and detachable side walls, which makes cleaning simple. This BBQ Grill has electronic ignition (needs a 1.5V AA battery, not supplied). A 3kW ceramic infrared burner will reach 800°C within 90-120 seconds. After the grill has preheated for about 5 minutes, you just need to place the meat on a cooking grid and grill it for about 45 seconds on each side at the top level. A tray with butter and herbs or garlic, etc should be positioned at the lowest level, allowing the butter to melt. When the meat has browned as desired, place it in the tray so it can rest and cook to the required degree. The tray can then be placed on top of the BBQ for serving or to keep warm. With the appropriate regulator, the Grill can operate with low pressure butane or propane gas. It does come with a standard 8mm hose and propane 27mm clip-on regulator. Dimensions (WxDxH): 23 x 56 x 40.5 cm. To protect the stainless steel, after assembly it is advised to apply a thin layer of olive oil and buff this to a non-greasy finish. This should be repeated from time to time to reserve the stainless steel. For cleaning, just remove the cooking grids and trays, detach the side rails and wash in hot soapy water. Remove the grease collection tray and drain any fat off before washing.
