The Handy 3000W 8 Ton Vertical Electric Log Splitter provides a powered alternative for domestic firewood preparation.Its 3000W electric motor powers a hydraulic system delivering 8 Ton splitting force. The vertical setup accommodates logs from 100mm to 550mm (4" - 21.5") long and 80mm to 300mm (3" - 12") in diameter, helping you process a useful range of firewood sizes.Two-handed operation requires both control levers to activate the splitting action. Adjustable log holders can be set to suit the log diameter, while the support table provides the working platform for the timber during splitting. The wedge travels forward at 3.2 cm/s and retracts at 17.3 cm/s.The hydraulic system has a 4.0L oil capacity and is supplied from the factory with Type 22 hydraulic oil. Transport wheels help reposition the 111.50kg machine around the working area. Assembly is required and the manual recommends a minimum two-person lift. Backed by a 2-year domestic warranty.
