Soviet Disco: Disco Electro Funk & More From Behind The Iron Curtain 1979-1990 - Vinyl LP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
Soviet Disco digs into late-Soviet dance music from across the former Eastern bloc, turning up bright synth lines, electro-funk grooves and wonderfully off-centre pop production. It is a genuinely fun compilation, but it also works as a sharp survey of how disco and electronics travelled and mutated behind the Iron Curtain.SIDE ONE:1. Mirdza Zivere - Vienmer But (Latvia 1979)2. Original - Sen Kaidan Bilasan (Uzbekistan 1981)3. Anzhelina Petrosova - Dancing Island (Uzbekistan 1987)4. Pervouralsk - Natashka (Russia 1990)5. Guljan Hummedova - Ak Pagta/White Cotton (Turkmenistan 1984)6. Roza Rymbaeva - Zhezdeke (Kazakhstan 1988)SIDE TWO:1. Mahfirat Hamraqulova & Gulshan - Rezaboron (Tajikistan 1989)2.
