Wilgermain is a luxury perfume house that was born from the encounter between a world renown perfumer, Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Francisco Gratacós, its founder and CEO, with the aim of satisfying many different lifestyles, from the most demanding fragrance aficionado to the individual buying a quality scent for the first time, as it offers a carefully edited collection of exceptional fragrances, conceived to cover a broad range of fragrant themes.
Inspiration
Deeply imbued with the tastes and character of both Paris and New York, the house, as well as each one of its scents, found their inspiration in these two cities. Both the City of Lights and the Big Apple are the unquestionable muses of the brand. For the sixth and final fragrance in the collection, Wilgermain wanted a really universal expression and the words that came to mind were easy, comfortable, urban, sophisticated, chic and easy to understand. Possession is a generous and joyous encounter between floral notes and ultra-chic woody nuances, touched by jewel like fruity nuances creating a luminous chypre structure. Musky notes are de rigueur here, as are elegant touches of rose and amber, although the initial seriousness of the accord disappeared when colourful but subtle fruit accents were added.
Scent
Top notes of a pear tree blossom accord, alpine cyclamen accord and pineapple pulp give way to a floral heart of Turkish rose absolute, Tunisian orange flower absolute and pink amaryllis. A dry-down of akigalawood, amber accord and a crystalline musk accord rounds out this unisex Floral-Musky-Fruity eau de parfum. Just like Passion Victim reflects the heady languor of Paris in the 1920's, Possession evokes the speed and the sophistication of today's New York. A human silhouette dashing through the cityscape, a trail of a perfume filled with an urbane, civilized feeling. The ultimate expression of effortless chic.
