This 3ft single velvet petal bed is designed for a 90 x 190 cm mattress. The slatted base sits within the frame, which is finished in velvet around the visible sides. The curved headboard is upholstered to match the frame and provides a backrest behind the mattress. The headboard and outer frame are upholstered in velvet, with the structural supports concealed beneath. The curved, petal-like headboard gives the upholstered bed its distinctive silhouette. Padded sections provide a surface to lean against, while the mattress rests on the supplied slatted base. The mattress rests on slats fitted between the supporting frame rails. The slats fit inside the frame, leaving the outer edges outside the stated mattress size. The upholstered head end can be leaned against while reading; slats beneath the mattress provide separate support. The assembled frame measures approximately 206 x 106 x 87.5 cm. A mattress is not included. The mattress size describes the sleeping area; the bed’s outside edge extends beyond it. The headboard’s fabric finish remains visible behind the made-up bed. The finished height takes in the headboard as well as the mattress platform, so check it against the intended wall space. Maximum load: 150 kg. Recommended mattress thickness: 15, 20 or 25 cm.
