Insoles can also be machine-washed at a low temperature. Do not leave clogs exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight, as this can shrink the material. Keep shoes in the shade outdoors or store indoors when not in use. Over time, the foam will adapt to your foot shape for a snug and comfortable fit. To reduce squeaking, sprinkle talcum powder between the insole and footbed. For tricky foot shapes or bunions, gently heat the shoe with a hairdryer for under a minute and mould to your foot.
