While many of our customers enjoy their tree well into the New Year, we cannot guarantee how long any individual tree will last once indoors.How to Care for Your Tree1. Make a Fresh CutBefore placing your tree in its stand, saw approximately 2cm off the base. This opens the pores in the trunk, helping the tree absorb water effectively.2. Keep Away from HeatPosition your tree away from radiators, fires, or direct heat sources. Warm, dry air will cause the needles to drop more quickly.3. Water RegularlyPlace your tree in plain water only—avoid soil or sand, as these block the trunk’s pores. A quality stand such as a Hydro Tree Stand or Cinco stand is recommended. Depending on room temperature, your tree may drink 2 - 3 pints (1 - 2 litres) of water daily.

A real Christmas tree brings a fresh festive scent and natural beauty to your home; to keep it looking its best, cut 1–2 cm off the base before placing it in a water-filled stand, check and top up the water daily, and position the tree away from radiators or direct heat to prevent drying and maintain needle retention.
