This means it is impossible to predict or guarantee how long they will survive. This will depend on the individual tree, the Surroundings it’s in and how will it is looked after. Although most of our trees live comfortably past the new year, we could not possibly guarantee how long your tree will be able to survive in your home/office. Tree care 1. Prepare the tree - before installing your tree we recommend you saw 2cm of the trunk which creates a fresh cut and opens up the pores in the back which will allow the tree to drink water through the pores. 2. Keep away from heat source - position you Christmas tree away from any heat source such as radiators and fireplaces. Heat dries out your tree faster. 3. Water your tree - in plain water not soil or sand which would block the pores in the bark. We recommend using a Hydro Christmas Tree Stand or the Cinco stand we sell as an accessory. Your Christmas tree may drink 2-3 pints (1-2 litres) of water per day and will depend on your central heating settings.

A real Christmas tree brings a fresh festive scent and natural beauty to your home; to keep it looking its best, cut 1–2 cm off the base before placing it in a water-filled stand, check and top up the water daily, and position the tree away from radiators or direct heat to prevent drying and maintain needle retention.
