The Duke is a great entry level MTB, it's dual suspension system making it a great choice for those looking for a little extra comfort and capability. Adopting a robust Steel frame, Duke differs from it's full suspension siblings through it's square geometry, almost resembling a crossbar, hardtail frame. The suspension mechanism itself operates through a hinged swingarm, thus not relying on clearance between the seat post and swing-arm... meaning regardless of saddle height, you have full travel! Combined with it's suspension forks up front, Duke is certainly equipped for an unknown detour. As for gearing, Dallingridge have used a broad Shimano 18 speed system with simplistic, beginner friendly Revoshift twist-grip shifters. Combined with the V-Brakes on the front & rear, you're in good hands on the way up, and indeed on the way down. Thinking of testing the waters of MTB, but dont want to break the bank? Brand new and sealed in a box. This Bike will arrive to you 80% assembled. Fitment of pedals, stem handlebars, front wheel & saddle is required, as well as a general check over and tighten of all fixings on pre-assembled parts (spoke tension, crank nuts, rear wheel nuts etc). The brakes & gearing may need adjustment as part of the bicycles assembly and general servicing after initial use and throughout ownership. We strongly recommend professional assembly & servicing if you dont feel confident with bicycle mechanics.
