GOG Makalu Outdoor Sunglasses The GOG Makalu Outdoor Sunglasses are made for extreme brightness, ideal for mountain and glacier conditions. Available in Matt Grey/, they offer strong protection and a secure fit for demanding outdoor activities. The UV400 filter blocks light rays up to 400 nanometres, protecting against UVA, UVB and UVC exposure during intense sunlight. Polarised lenses help cut glare from snow, water and roads, improving clarity and colour contrast. A mirror coating reduces reflections and adds scratch resistance, while the hydrophobic coating repels water and limits dust build-up for clearer vision with reduced cleaning. With a category 4 filter that allows only 3%-8% of visible light through, the Makalu model is suited to very strong sunlight in high-altitude s (not suitable for driving). The TR90 grilamid frame is lightweight, flexible and durable, offering long-wear comfort. HEAD-FIT adjustment allows the nose pads and temple ends to be shaped for a personalised, stable fit. Designed in one size measuring 59-16-132mm, the Makalu suits most users. A soft case is included for protection and travel.
