The McAlpine BSW3PC Centre Pin Sink Waste is a plumbing component designed for use in sink installations. It features an 85mm stainless steel flange and a plug, which help to prevent water from flowing out of the sink and down the drain. The "centre pin" in the name refers to the mechanism that holds the plug in place. When the plug is inserted into the drain, the centre pin engages with a corresponding slot in the plug, creating a watertight seal. To remove the plug, you simply need to pull up on it, disengaging the centre pin and allowing water to flow down the drain.
