This automatic feeder has 6 food compartments, allowing for up to 6 feedings per day. Feeding times can be set in 1-hour and 1-minute increments. The food tray and base are connected by three horizontal clips. Rotating the food tray clockwise connects the two parts, while rotating it counterclockwise separates them. This automatic pet feeder helps establish healthy eating habits, control portion sizes, and prevent overfeeding. Each food compartment holds approximately 75 grams of dry food; for medium to large dogs, shortening the feeding intervals can achieve the desired effect. Do not place liquids such as water or milk directly in the food compartments. There are 6 trays in total, each holding 1 cup of food.
