This book is the first of the series Chinese Shipping Financial Law Review, which is an audacious attempt to make an annual presentation to the professional readers worldwide a group of delicately selected articles concerning shipping financial law in the jurisdiction of the Mainland of the Peoples Republic of China. China controls the largest merchant fleet in this planet and occupies a substantive share of global market of shipping finance. However, the laws of China occasionally appear to be unable to embrace the rapid growth of economy and emerging requirements of market participants.
