Dracaenas, also known as dragon trees, are native to tropical Africa or Asia. Their name is derived from the Greek Drakaina meaning 'female dragon'. Red resin flows from each incision, which is also called dragon’s blood. This fluid has been used as a medicine since ancient times. This large Dracaena Cintho has striking green leaves with a yellow stripe in the middle, which is why this plant always steals the show. This plant is not only a pleasure to look at, it is also a strongly air purifying plant, which makes sure you always breathe clean air.

This large Dracaena is easy to care for: it likes bright light and a humid atmosphere, but can also grow well in a spot in semi-shade. Watering the leaves regularly helps keep the plant beautiful. In summer, it is better to keep the root ball more moist. The ideal temperature for this plant is between 18°C and 25°C.
